Frederic Tcheuleu
Chairman of the Board of Trustees
Frédéric Martial Tcheuleu is a seasoned Digital Transformation senior consultant and software engineer. A Pan Africanist who by virtue of his passion to transform societies and people using the power of technology has left his mark in the sand of time in several African countries. Frederic started entrepreneurship at the age of 14, and in 2005, while still a student of software engineering at UIT; he developed the first banking application in Cameroon as an intern with Box Télécom.
In 2007, he created his second company called Saleki (Open Afriki) which saw him implementing some of the most mission critical digital transformation projects in Africa notably: - A digital Timber certification program for the Ministry of Forestry and Wildlife in Cameroon. - A Digital management system for the reinstatement of rebels and Ex-combattants in Côte d'Ivoire. - A Digital management system for the certification of rural lands in Benin and many more.
In 2019, the unswerving entrepreneur created JABA SPACE which is the incubation center behind the mega fund raisers of promising tech startups— Ejara and #Maviance in Cameroon. Frederic is a certified disaster recovery engineer and a certified information system security manager. In 2022 he joined Seven Group as Investor, Chief Business Officer and Chairman of the Group.
His dedication to serve and impact the lives of the young generation has led him to undertake the challenging role of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees at Seven International University (SIU).
Emmanuel Tanyi, PhD
VP, Academic Affairs (SIU)
Professor Emmanuel Tanyi, PhD is the Pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University of Buea, in Cameroon. For over three decades, he has made significant contributions to the development of Engineering and Technology in the Cameroon Higher Education system where he held administrative positions in three universities:
- --> University of Yaoundé I, Head of Department of Electrical Engineering and
Telecommunications at the Advanced School of Engineering (Polytechnique).
- --> University Of Dschang, Deputy Director of the College of Technology (I.U.T.) in Bandjoun.
- --> University of Buea, pioneer Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology.
Under his leadership the Faculty of Engineering and Technology of the University of Buea became a flagship establishment with graduates who have won scores of national and international awards, including the Head of State’s prize for the best ICT project in Cameroon. Graduates of this faculty have also developed a rock-solid reputation for the creation of technology hubs (including the famous Silicon Mountain, in Buea).
Regarded as a living legend for many generations of engineers, Professor Tanyi is holder of a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the The University of Sheffield England, a Master of Engineering (MEng) degree in Automatic Control Systems Engineering from the University of Sheffield and a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree from the University of Liverpool, in England.
Professor Tanyi is also the chairperson of the Scholarship Award Committee of PASET a Nairobi-based international organization which awards hundreds of scholarships to African scholars in the domains of Science, Engineering and Technology. He has supervised over twenty-five PhDs and over sixty Masters projects in Engineering.
As a crusader of quality tech education, he is joining Seven International University’s board of overseers as Vice president of Academic Affairs.
Alain Mekulu Mvondo
VP, Investment & Audit Committee (SIU)
Noël Alain Olivier Mekulu Mvondo is one of the most influential personalities in Public Finance and Auditing in Francophone Africa. His leadership acumen has seen him lead the National Social Insurance Fund (CNPS) to peek performance since 2008 to present.
A brilliant scholar in public law and political science, Olivier Mekulu Mvondo rapidly ascended to become a reckoning figure in good governance presiding over preeminent regional associations such as AISCCUF and CREFIAF, and brilliantly contributing to enhancing the expertise of French-speaking countries in transparency and integrity of public accounts.
Nationally, his visionary leadership shines through strategic roles like the National Hydrocarbons Corporation, Crédit Foncier du Cameroun, and the Central African Stock Exchange, where he chairs key committees.
On the international stage, Olivier Mekulu Mvondo is a certified Instructor by INTOSAI, the supreme audit institution for the public sector worldwide, he also served on prominent United Nations bodies like the Council of the International Seabed Authority, providing his astute vision at the highest decision-making levels.

Wakuna Galega, PhD
VP, Research and Innovation (SIU)
Wakuna Galega, PhD is a visionary leader and a distinguished expert in sustainability, with a multifaceted career spanning pharmaceuticals, aesthetics, international development, environmental sustainability, and venture capital. Her academic excellence is highlighted by a Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering from Stanford University, where she made groundbreaking discoveries in the field of biodegradable plastics. With a fervent commitment to advancing economic growth in Africa, Wakuna is entrepreneurial spirited. She currently leads emerging ventures in real estate and manufacturing in Cameroon.
During her PhD at Stanford University, Wakuna pioneered research that revealed for the first time, the potential of microorganisms to convert greenhouse gas mixtures into biodegradable plastics. As a result of this groundbreaking discovery, her work earned a prestigious million-dollar NASA grant, through which she led the development of innovative, cost-effective methods to enhance biodegradable plastics production for space explorations. Her contributions include authoring a patent and publishing peer-reviewed articles in high-impact journals, contributing significantly to the intellectual property landscape and academic discourse related to tackling plastic pollution.
Wakuna’s expertise spans sustainable practices within the pharmaceutical industry, ensuring that environmental, social, and governance (ESG) considerations are seamlessly integrated into business strategies. As a forward-thinker and trailblazer, she launched a green chemistry initiative at a global multinational company, driving sustainable process development, and shaping industry practices. She currently holds a strategic role in performance innovation within her organization. Her role involves identifying and implementing process improvements that not only enhance business performance but also contribute to the company's broader commitment to corporate responsibility. Her projects to date are on track to save the company millions of dollars through the implementation of innovative cost cutting strategies and revenue optimization.
Wakuna has a robust international background, having worked with esteemed organizations such as the World Bank and the U.S. Green Chamber of Commerce (USGCC). Her contributions to global sustainability initiatives have solidified her reputation as a leader in the field. In addition to her roles with global organizations, Wakuna has played a pivotal role in the clean tech and climate tech sectors. Her consulting work with multiple start-ups has been instrumental in advancing innovative solutions that address environmental challenges. As a venture capital investor, Wakuna has a keen eye for identifying promising investment opportunities and supporting entrepreneurs addressing real-world problems.
Born and raised in Cameroon, Wakuna harbors a profound passion for the African continent and a deep-rooted commitment to its economic growth. As the CEO and Co-Founder of FELOWA Community Homes, she spearheads an innovative real estate venture dedicated to addressing Cameroon’s housing shortage. By developing high-quality homes within planned and secure communities, Wakuna is driving forward sustainable urban development and improving living standards in the region.

Ousmanou Kouotou

Ousmanou Kouotou stands as a towering figure in the corporate landscape, a luminary whose brilliance has illuminated the path to excellence for organizations across Sub-Saharan Africa.
An esteemed alumnus of the prestigious ESSEC Business School in Douala, Cameroon, Kouotou's proactive and visionary leadership has propelled regional branches of the global logistics giant #DHL to unprecedented heights of performance.
On the national stage, Kouotou's transformative impact has been felt in industry titans such as CamGaz and Société Anonyme des Brasseries du Cameroun (SABC), where his strategic acumen and dedication to service have redefined the boundaries of success.
On the international scene, Ousmanou Kouotou for the past 25 years has led DHL as Director General in several African countries such as Cameroon, Niger, Burkina Faso, Togo, Guinée Conakry, Mali, Sénégal, Cap-Vert, Gambie, Guinée Bissau, and Congo.
Acclaimed by many as the most accomplished manager of his generation, Kouotou has established himself as a go-to industry expert in logistics, compliance, and business expansion.

Yves Miyoo

A distinguished alumnus of the Universities of Karlsruhe, INSA Lyon, and London Business School, Mr. Miyoo stands among the leading figures shaping Africa’s digital transformation landscape. His visionary leadership and technical expertise have redefined how institutions across industries harness technology to drive growth and innovation.
As Group CIO of Activa Finances Holding, Mr. Miyoo spearheaded Project TITAN, a groundbreaking initiative that transformed the organization into one of Sub-Saharan Africa’s first fully digital insurance companies. His leadership elevated Activa to a continental benchmark for digital integration and customer-centered innovation.
His career path also includes key leadership roles at Air Liquide and Hewlett Packard (HP), where he led transformative technology strategies that set new standards for operational excellence and IT governance.
